How Long Have Respondents Had Panic Attacks?
When Was the Last One?
The following data come from a set of 607 respondents to our WWW questionnaire survey on panic attacks.
We asked respondents to choose a period for which they had been
experiencing panic attacks from 'less than 3 months'; '3months to a
year'; or 'longer than a year'.
About two thirds of the respondents
had been having panic attacks for a period longer than 3 years.
Respondents were asked when they had suffered their last attack as
'less than 3 months ago'; 3 months to 1 year ago; or 'longer than a
year ago'.
Almost 80% of respondents had had their last attack
within the last 3 months.
